1955: School Board of Little Rock agrees with ruling
1957: NAACP registers nine students to integrate Central High School
Sep. 4 1957 : Little Rock nine students tried entering the school but they weren't allowed to go in because the National Guard blocked their entry
Sep. 14 1957 : Governor Faubus meets President Dwight D. Eisenhower in Newport, RI
Sep. 20 1957 : Judge Davies grants NAACP lawyers Thurgood Marshall and Wiley Branton an injunction to tell Faubus to remove the National Guard
Sep. 24 1957 : Eisenhower sends 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army to Little Rock
Sep. 25 1957 : Little Rock Nine successfully enter the school for the first time
Nov. 27 1957 : 101st Airborne Division leave Little Rock
May 8 1958 : Eisenhower orders National Guard to be removed from Central High School
May 27 1958 : The oldest member of Little Rock Nine is the first African American to graduate from Central High School
Sep. 1958 : Governor Faubus recently passed a law allowing him to close Little Rock public senior high schools, forcing students to study somewhere else
June 19 1959: Federal court rules Faubus actions unconstitutional, forcing him to reopen schools
1982 : Little Rock Central High School named to the National Register of Historic Places
Nov. 9 1999 : Little Rock Nine receive Congressional Gold Medal
August 2005 : Sculptures were made which are dedicated on the grounds of the Arkansas state Capitol
